Singer-Songwriter & Emerging Pop Artist
JENYKA (Evgenia Krincheva) is a 16-year-old singer, songwriter and musician from Sofia, Bulgaria, whose artistic identity is rooted in emotion, authenticity and quiet strength.
Her music combines modern pop, powerful expressive vocals and deeply personal stories, transforming lived experiences into music that connects beyond language and borders.
Musical Development
JENYKA’s love for music began at the age of four. Between 2016 and 2022, she recorded 25 original children’s songs and received numerous awards, including the Grand Prix for Best Young Performer. She was also a seven-time finalist in the European New Children’s Song Competition “Golden Sparks.”
In 2021, she reached the final of “Bulgaria’s Got Talent,” where her performances of jazz and pop songs showcased her vocal technique, emotional interpretation and stage presence.
Alongside singing, JENYKA studied piano, ukulele, drums and music theory, and completed a music production course in 2022. She continues to develop her knowledge of music production and the music business.
Original Music & International Development
Since 2024, JENYKA has placed her original music at the centre of her artistic journey.
She has released 15 original songs, contributing to both their music and lyrics, and is currently developing her debut EP.
Her original songs “Everything” and “Hopeless” received international recognition, including awards at worldwide new song competitions in Italy and internationally.
At the United Kids competition, JENYKA received a special award from composer and producer Ruslan Kvinta, which led to the creation of her first international project, “Fly.”
In 2023, internationally recognised duo XiJaro & Pitch described her as “one of the most emotive new voices” and invited her to participate in one of their music projects.
In 2025, Brazilian music media included JENYKA among 10 new artists who should be heard, highlighting her potential as a young artist with an international perspective.
Live Performance
Live performance is an important part of JENYKA’s artistic development. In 2025, she became part of the global SOFAR Sounds concert network, performing two intimate acoustic shows featuring her original music. She has also performed her songs with a band at SoAlive Music Conference and presented her own programme at Sofia Live Festival.
Her music has reached international audiences through a special feature on Break Sound Radio in the USA, as well as radio airplay in France, Italy and Belgium. In 2026, JENYKA became part of “The Voice of Bulgaria,” joining Maria Ilieva’s team and performing for a wide national audience.
Theatre & Musical Theatre
Alongside her music career, JENYKA has extensive experience in theatre and musical productions. She played the leading role in the musical “Annie,” directed by Dimitar Gochev, participated in a workshop led by West Hyler of Cirque du Soleil’s “Paramour,” and performed the songs of the leading character in the musical “The Secret of Music.” These experiences have further developed her ability to combine music, acting and stage presence.
